Can you stop loving someone if you truly love someone?, In my opinion you can never stop loving the person you loved but you can accept undying love as a virtue instead of a burden, unloving someone is not easy, you have to be strong to be able to let go.
what do you think guys? have you experience this before?

Unloving someone is a painful and torturous process. It can take many years, and sometimes, in the middle of a sunny Tuesday, you think of them and your heart breaks all over again.

@Tenshidc I was married once, and it took several years for me to finally let go. It took several more years before I stopped thinking of him with longing.

Time is not only a great healer in my opinion it's also a great " unlover" if we are just patient enough

@Tenshidc Very true. Tolerance to pain be it emotional or physical differs from one individual to the other and in this type of pain I had seen people get over it in days, months, years, decades and some retain the scar for a lifetime , it really depends on the person cause no two are the same emotionally.

@louievill that's true, and it also depends how deep the wounds of the person to overcome it easily.

@Tenshidc Yes, I'm happy with the way I handled things. Real love conquers all and we are happiest when we love but when someone hurts us we must protect ourselves from such people so that we can love those who deserve it. There are different degrees of love and we have the control whether to intensify or diminish the degree of love.
