I knew I was going to wear a mask, so slapped on a tiny bit of makeup. Rotten makeup job, but thanks.

Have you had any since the pandemic began? I was too scared.

@DianneN Yah, I miss that cut. Well, they "say" things are way better ... CA is supposedly reopening fully mid June. I don't know if I see that as a good thing - it makes me VERY nervous . In any case, we will still remain cautious - mainly I don't trust human behavior . . . will try to navigate through this weird world but safely as possible. Wow, Joseph recovered fairly quickly but yes, it is lifetime monitoring now. His hubby must be big time smarty! I don't blame you . . . no matter how much we may trust certain people/businesses, we can't trust the virus - that's the scary part .

I remember your telling me of your asymmetrical haircut. I’m sure you rocked it. Are things better where you are? Joseph had bladder cancer about 4 months ago and went for a test this morning before I got there. He is cancer free, but must continue with testing. I was shocked and so sorry for him. His husband is going to M.I.T for yet another degree. He was there and invited me in for coffee, but I passed. Still cautious about being out and about. Joseph has been opened for business since October. Just couldn’t go. How are you all doing?

@DianneN Once you are in your fear is gone. As it is the situation in your country has improved a great deal.

@msdivkar You’re right. I’m feeling much more comfortable now, but am still being careful. Our state has been one of the best regarding the virus.

I’m sure your daughter does a very nice job. To be honest, I felt very safe even when I had to remove my mask.

You should see my before photo! Too embarrassed to show it to anyone. My hairdresser almost had a heart attack when he saw me.. Thanks! I feel great once again and so happy!

@oahuwriter Actually, he’s been in business since October. My son has seen his hairdresser every two weeks all year. We’ve been pretty lucky with covid here. I was just overly cautious as usual.

There is, but no one is allowed to see the before. I looked like a lunatic!

@DianneN Yes I've been vaccinated. They required an appointment and a mask plus you had to wait outside where I got the haircut. There are still precautions being taken in some places. But yeah I'm really glad I got vaccinated.
