Trigger Warning: Internalized and external mentions of transphobia and homophobia. As well as violence mention and suicide mention. I am queer. I am nonbinary. But society is so cruel and hateful to people like me. Freaks. That's what we are to society. Today, I was watching something made by a wonderful trans* Youtuber (Miles McKenna- love him!). But I seen so many transphobic and harmful comments. And my community; my family as I call them, called it out. But honestly, at this point, I hate how cruel society can be to people. LGBTQ+ people are constantly killed or harmed, either by the wrath and evil of others, or through self harm and suicide. I have tried to end my life several times because of the things I have been put through. I am tired of having to fight to be treated like a person. A human being. We deserve respect too. Pride month is this June, and honestly, at this point, I wanna force myself back into the closet. Be someone I'm not, because of how evil the world is. At least I'll be safe, right?

Hiding who you are only works for so long. It's better to face it head-on with people who love and support you. It's better to learn to be comfortable in your own skin. It's not like you're wearing a neon sign that says ' I'm queir come get me'. No. Unless you choose to share it, no one would ever know.
