Full lockdown again

Since we got 8K new cases today, the government announced for lockdown starting 1st to 14th of June. It's a blessing as it's pretty chaotic at work right now. But I still need to do my RTK test tomorrow. Basically, go to the clinic, poke my nose and wait 30 minutes. If positive, contact the company and then health ministry. If not, shop for groceries. Never a dull moment in my life. Always got something to do.

This pandemic has come well in control in western world but in full swing in our part of the world. It is best controlled by such lockdowns.

It would work best if people continue to comply afterwards as well.

@prinzcy I agree with you fully. The present surge is because we neglected that after recovery from first wave.

That's very true. Once cases start to low down, people start to lax and do whatever. It's the same situation here.

@prinzcy yes this is what people should work on , even if cases are less they should not ...they should continue their safety otherwise this continues

The head of the family can still go out to purchase food anytime they want. But still stores operate around 8am- 8pm, no point going out other than that time.

I hope they let you poke yourself in the nose. The first time I had the test a nurse tried to ram the swab through the back of my head. I almost cried it hurt so much. The second time I did it myself and had no problems. I hope you don't have Covid.

Not sure if I'm capable of poking myself the way it should. I admit I would cry shamelessly and curse the nurse (in my heart) if it's hurt. I paid a lot to hurt that much, of course I'm mad. I hope so too.

@prinzcy I learned it shouldn't be a "poke" at all. It just needs a gentle swirl with the cotton swab inside each nostril. The first time the nurse was unnecessarily rough and should have been reported. Please stay safe.

I'm not familiar with the initials RKT is that too see if your test positive for covid-19 or something else?

If I'm not mistaken, RTK is the swab test that poke in the nose thingy. PCR is more accurate as it would take sample from your nose and throat. But it's more expensive and you will only know the result in days.
