Bing Rewards had a poll (for its members) asking whether we preferred The Who or Led Zeppelin. I chose The Who (because of "The Who's 'TOMMY'"). I'm not even sure if I've heard any of 'Led Zep.'s songs! ... I guess I have; but they don't do 'that rapper trick' of saying who they are in a lot of their songs.

I saw this this morning as well. I picked Led Zeppelin. Look, The Who was okay. But not anywhere near as iconic nor as good as Led Zeppelin... IMHO.

I always get the reason, especially with young bucks because you could tell they were just told about them. I did not know. Its like how my sister led me to Pink Floyd. People till this day get excited when they first here certain types of music, why its such a travesty music is in the crapper. So many cool things out there and that is what you choose to listen to.

I'm listening to the greatest hits list now, I'm hearing all kinds of old familiar songs ... I guess you had to 'know who LED ZEPPELIN was' to know "it's one of THEIR songs."

@mythociate What? Robert Plant had such a distinctive voice. I'd know a Led Zeppelin song if I was deaf.

Both very talented and taught many musicians that are true some tricks. I think I prefer Zeppelin but just more on style. Fits with me more.Of course when used to go to bar would make fun of Zeppelin, people be acting funny. I played this and its the number one band clearly, so many people play it, I just talked smack, never heard that before. When if Who would come on you be at least someone flipped the script. Why I play punk rock, even The Clash barely get played around here. Its interesting what people play at the bar. Do you go with what makes you happy or do you sell out to the crowd?

Depends what my goal is that day, I guess. I like Rock Operas like TOMMY. Deep Purple would be my favorite then (JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR)

@mythociate You may like this then I showed this before but because I lean to the left I alwayss thought this was neat as hell because not many have the vision or talent to pull this off and the story is so neat. The reason I say that is people go well if it is to the left I cannot like it. Crap that makes me shake my head and honestly if you listen to it its far from the left but actually how mankind is which is why story is neat. To bad people who heard left turned it off. OK I will stop preaching.
