Three crops of Bell Fruit

Normally bell fruit yields just once a year but due to unseaosnal rains it yielded thrice.
Even before the first crop could mature the second crop showed up and even before the second crop could mature the third crop showed up. Sadly most of them dropped to the ground. We could not use them but had to fill the compost pits.

Too bad, some fell off. We call them mountain apple here in Hawaii.

Bell fruit is delicious! I rarely get them in where I shop. When little a farmer friend if my Grandpa brought us bell fruits all the time... those were good times.

Sounds like back in Latvia when all of our apple trees started dropping apples often we picked up as much as we could, some went to waste and we used as much as we could,
