Aurora Australis

Image provided by "Aurora Australis..." by Trey Ratcliff is licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 2.0 and found on search.creativecommons.org This image reminds me a lot of those glitter sand pictures that used to be popular. The ones with a stunning image behind it. We had one such picture here, but the sand dried up and stuck to the portrait long ago. Images such as this one provides me with inspiration. It reminds me of the ye olde time of bubbles (some of you know what I refer to) when I used to write creatively based on an image, or a dream, or a combination of the two. I've done such writing here in the past, but not with the same dedication as I did in the ye olde time of bubbles. Anyway, this is a picture of the Aurora Australis (Southern Lights) and I think it's just gorgeous. Do you find inspiration in nature?

Do you mean bubblews? I don't understand. Are these interpretations of the Aurora Australis or actual photos? Have a good day. Yes, nature is amazing.

THis is an actual photo take of the Aurora Australis, and yes Bubbles or Bubblews. Lots of people refer to it as bubbles here. I'm just being a copycat.

@LindaOHio The photo makes me want to stick my finger on it and swirl around the purple, glittery sky.

@ScribbledAdNauseum That's great that it makes you want to write! Never seen a water thing with this design, but that would be cool

Yes, and I love those lights whether they be Northern or Southern. I found a t shirt the other day I forgot I had which has a moose in the shadow of the Northern lights. It is really pretty charming and colorful.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Yes, so nice..when I was a kid, you could see flashing in the sky and maybe a bit of color from the Northern Lights but they were nothing to get excited about.

@snowy22315 I'd probably have gotten excited, at least at first. I loved lightning bugs when I was a little girl. That seemed like a whole new universe.

Oh that sounds like a beautiful shirt. I love them too. Just the bright skies, no matter what color they are. All the twinkling stars too.

I do indeed, as you know I would be insane if I could not get to the trail sometimes in nature. I love that photo there..it is fantabulous. Yes I do know of the bubbles and the old bubbles from when I was a kid chewing Bazooka too lol

I chewed bazooka gum too, and also. fruit stripe, i think it was called. Ah, I haven't been outside to walk in a few days. It's a beautiful day for it, but I have too much on my mind to want to bother.

Another reason for me to keep New Zealand and Australia at the top of my bucket list. Beautiful. I am inspired by nature every single day.

That looks amazing, I would like to see that up close, I find lots of inspiration in nature especially in the summer when white clouds are up above in all sorts of shapes and sizes,

I love summer storms the most. I was watching the sky last night as it faded from day to night and that inspired me too.
