Yes, it should be. China acts as if it is independent, but it isn't. Pro-China leaders have been installed, dissent is not tolerated, and a pro-Chinese successor to the Dalai Lama has been chosen by the Chinese, someone different than the candidate chose by the Dalai Lama's people.

i think so. they wouldn't be shouting for liberation if they were in the first place treated as what should a people in such country should. Taiwan called for independence so why shouldn't they?

yeah, but if i remembered it right a few of the politician in Taiwan is in favor of the separation of Taiwan from China. it will be decided if pro-independence will be elected.
maybe so, but there is no harm in trying and believing it will someday.

Actually I think MOST of the politicians in Taiwan want independence. But China's going to have the last say and the problems of having an independent Taiwan defence-wise for China means that they're going to say no. Plus why should Taiwan be allowed to split anyway?

I am so surprised to see your response. first of all i am a Chinese citizen! and Tibet has always been part of China, there is no such saying " Tibet was invaded by China", i have to warn you that do you have any evidence to show that Tibet was invaded by China? you must be liable for your response. if you don't give a reasonable response, you will be condemned by 1.3billion all your life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
