Due to the rising cases of covid-19 specially in my country India, many examinations like CBSE 12 board exams are being cancelled,
so what are you views on it, shouldn't there be dual mode of exams as because this exams are specially an important phase of students life??

My youngest son should have had GCSE exams this year. He's done some assessments and mock exams but no official exams. He'll still get GCSEs but they'll be based more on coursework - which, I think, has been an advantage for him. I'm not sure why the exams couldn't go ahead this year, though. Schools are all open and have Covid safety measures in place.
My eldest son is still uncertain as to whether he can complete his university this year, though, because of not being able to do things. He might have benefitted from taking an extra exam in place of some work experience.
So I'm not sure how I feel about cancellation of exams. They are important but so is our safety. They can retake exams or there are other ways to assess. I do think it is difficult for some, especially those who get anxious about these things.

I have been attending online lecture for almost an year and even my final examinations are gonna be online.
But honestly we don't care. Because there's great difference in offline and online teaching. And the exams are constantly been postponed .We just focus on our studies and don't care about exams.
