As of 2 AM, the weather bureau released the update on typhoon Dante. Now, I understand why it is gloomy and raining. The typhoon is so fast, it was at the Mindanao area when I last heard the news and now it is hitting Luzon, from south to north that quick.
I am in Mabalacat City and my hometown Bugallon are at signal number 2 as well. I will call my father tomorrow to check the status back home.

@jobelbojel You're welcome... Several myLotters from the Philippines said the typhoon was moving fast. Isn't that the way they usually do? (I've never seen a typhoon, so have no clue about them.)

This person is also not privy to the weather report. I watered the yard 6am yesterday and by mid morning, the rain came. Sigh.

Yes, I will. It is typhoon season once again here. Dante was the 4th typhoon to enter the Philippines. I hope the rest are just weak winds.

Interesting weather data there. All those names are foreign to me of course. Stay safe. I have heard of Mindanao, Luzon and Manilla though. No hurricanes yet here, but you can be sure they are coming. They say this year we won't have as many though.

There are 3 major islands here, Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao. I know that hurricanes are more destructive then typhoons because of the winds.
