Finally sent friend off on his way to the annual meeting. We will see what he gleans from it. With no potluck, don't see a reason to attend actually..Anyway, I guess we will go out to lunch when he comes back. In the meantime, exciting laundry to do here. What's happening with your Saturday?

@LadyDuck I use a weed whacker. You can only really do things like that in the evening though or early morning...too hot and humid during the middle of the day.

@snowy22315 I use the week whacker in the garden, I had to burn those weeds that grow between pavers in front of the garage. I should be fine for a while.

I wish you could send him over here! I had some repairs done last year..but it was a drop in the bucket and one of the boards is loose again already..

@Marilynda1225 When I do manage to get the deck replaced I am going to get some kind of weather resistant boards or something. Not that composite decking, that costs too much but some kind of treated wood.

@snowy22315 I wish I could send him to you. I've seen other decks he's done here and he does a good job. I really don't understand why they didn't do Trex decks here when they built our houses. It certainly would have been worth the extra price without having to worry about future upkeep.
