Eating from a buffet / myLot

Today; a friend and I went to a Chinese restaurant and got our meal from their buffet bar.I kind of liked what I call some kind of salad made with crab meat. I also got a few other things from the buffet bar that I liked. Whenever somebody got their food from the buffet bar; they had to wear gloves and a face mask because of the covid 19. I don't blame them for that because they want to protect their customers

For me it's shouldn't be done yet because the food is being exposed to different people.

There are a lot of people who thinks this way. They can choose not to eat at these restaurants if they don't want to.

@Scrapper88 Regular restaurant foods, they are being expose to the kitchen help and a waitress. I don't see why a buffet should be any different. Both ways should be allowed, with precaution.

I don't mind buffet style eating. I just have an able-bodied person go through lines with me, and help me.

With a rule like that I'd have just stayed home. Either way, glad you enjoyed the outing and the food.

I am glad you enjoyed your buffet. In fact I had such a plan for my son's birthday. Now I have to cancel this plan since the pandemic situation gets worse in my city.

They're taking proper precautions to protect themselves and their customers. That's good then. Also, it's for hygiene factor. Even without Covid, such practise is a good thing.
