year 2020 is by far my worst year

2020 is the breakthrough of every "worst". I thought 2018 is already my worst when we were laid off in our company. But, yeah, I was wrong. As 2020 started, in the month of February, my son was hospitalized because of high fever. And then one or two weeks after, my mother was confined in a hospital. She had TB, diabetes, OCPD and some blood clot. That time was so tiring for me. I have no one to help me with and I still have to take care of my son. But things get better as days goes by. Not until the virus worsen. I do all of the chores and errands until my mother is well. IT.WAS.HARD. My husband is working overseas and will be having his 1-year mark in August of the worst year and yes, since the company is getting lesser projects, they have to lay off the newly-hired staffs. And my husband is one of them. That's another worst, right? See, 2020 really is the worst by far. As the mid-year of 2021 came, I know everyone is hoping for a better year. Hope all of you is doing good and stay safe always.

Many of us did experience hardship last year. As I have a stable job for 2 decades now and so far our company has survived it and am thankful for that we all survived together still. But I was not spared since Sept of last year I was hit by the virus that really made me physically unable to go back to work for almost a couple of months. But I still am thankful that I survive it with the help of friends, co-workers, and family. I am thankful that I was able to see 2021 since during my hospitalization I thought I wouldn't survive my ordeal but I did somehow. I somehow agree with you that it was the worst year ever that happened in our lives. It was quite different from the rest of the years we have had in the past.

@adnileb l guess eachnone of us were affected differently by this pandemic at some point. I was physically affected and you were mentally challenged on how to survive losing your job and you husband too. But I think there is one common denominator about our experiences we both survive it and still struggling to fight it.

@rsa101 yes.. the hard part there is "struggling" but the good thing is that we are "still" struggling.. Really hoping for a better tomorrow..

Surviving the virus within your body would be the bravest thing to happen. Spiritually, emotionally and physically, you are affected. But surviving the virus itself is different. you feel like you are a warrior fighting for the enemy within your body.
