Perfect for rainy days

It's raining lightly the whole afternoon. We save electricity by turning off the Aircon. We have a delicious porridge or lugaw with shredded chicken. We eat it in the morning with hard boiled eggs. In the afternoon we partner it with lumpiang toge with vinegar dip. I add more ground pepper. It warm us this cool weather. I'm so happy it's rainy days now.

Yes light rain shower only. Mother did not enjoy taking a shower in the rain because it's not strong enough

@averygirl72 I think a lot of people here eat porridge too. Just not my thing personally.

Lugaw will always be a comfort food to all of us here. The Lumpia is a plus :) YumYum
