The Mitchells vs the Machines (Movie)

I was extremely blown away by Netflix's 2021 movie "The Mitchells vs the Machines". It has some crude humor in it for some questionable laughs. The biggest perk in the movie is the subtle philosophy ideas pertaining to what humans value (living like a mindless slave to cellphones, etc) and if humans as a whole are a species worth existing. Are we? Do you think we deserve to be on the planet with how we exist with our interactions towards each other? There is a lot more I'd say about the movie... except its so new and I really don't want to spoil it for anyone.

I've seen the selection on Netflix. I haven't watched it. It doesn't appeal to me. Crude humor leaves me out. Thanks for the review.

No problem! It was rather off putting at first, but in the whole scope of what it can teach people or at least give people to ponder.. I think its worth it! I know I am like in the minority in preferring things non-tech. I could easily exist without my cellphone. I'm so bad at keeping it charged my sister bought and gave me a travel size charger so I can keep it charged. I can't tell you how many times I had someone return my phone to me since I simply don't remember it. But the underlying message in this movie is a real KABAMN, no hold punch at a need to reconsider how much we value technology over our values to other people.

@just4him Thanks! it really could be something used in journal writing for self awareness and contemplation on those topics! It also covers family struggles of connection.

you should! It really does put a thought provoking spin on the actions of people who live in a more digital world than they do in the physical!
