I learnt to drive almost 5 years back. It was really a exciting experience learning to drive a car. The car was bought 5 years ago and funny part was that nobody in my family knew how to drive. The car was kept in my uncle's house. The very next day i took my friend and asked him to train me in driving. It took me 2 days before i could drive the car on a traffic road. Perfectness came after 2 months.

That is really funny. But what about the driving licence? Did not you have to put the exams?

I learned to drive by crash course.... no, really, I learned to drive in high school in the driving course there. It was not much fun for a shy guy like me to have to sit between two beautiful girls while the other student was driving!

Hmmm, I think I learned to drive around the age of 6. Although I think my mom pushed the pedals for me and I just steered.
There was a race track around Toronto somewhere that had a dirt road going around the outside of it. She used to let us drive there.
I can't remember exactly how old I was when I learned to drive more. I know I was still pretty young, but she would take me to desserted dirt roads to just practice on.
The funniest thing is, when I actually went to take my real drivers test at 16, it took me 5 or 6 tries to pass the test. I kept doing foolish things, like not being able to parallel park, or rolling through a stop sign.
And I taught myself to drive a manual transmission vehicle in my 20's. I kept going back and forth in my driveway until I got the hang of releasing the clutch and pressing the gas at the same time. Twenty years later, I still drive a stick, and I still hate having to stop on hills.

I was 17 when my Dad taught me to drive.
Everything was simple then.
Sit your theory, if you pass that then you go for you practical straight after that.
Now you have to sit your theory, then wait a few months and then go for your practical paying a separate fee every time you sit these, and then wait another 2 year I think before you can sit your full license and pay another fee on top of that.
What a load of rubbish and money making bulls---.

My answer is really interesting. I learned two wheeler driving at the age of 25 and my car driving at 30. seems late? It is. Here in India the vehicle boom started very late.

Nah I didn't learn driving yet. I am too lazy to give the driver's license test. I just want to have fun instead and enjoy life rather then wasting my time giving tests. I hate tests.
