I love the way that a group of students who attend Farwell Elementary School in Lewiston Maine have used their free time to share their life experiences during the pandemic, The program at the elementary school is named Author Series program is still around despite the closing of schools last year due to the pandemic which kept the students home due to safety reasons. The group of students who wrote about their life experiences during the pandemic worked together in a virtual class project to have their story published to the public at a later date. I remember listening on the radio in New Orleans that the late Paul Harvey mentioned that by writing our own life experiences, persons in the future will learn how persons who lived in a previous era lived which would amaze them how times have changed from one era to another.

I enjoyed hearing his radio broadcasts when I was living in Panama with my late dad when we go visit my late grandma in the interior through a shortwave radio that carried English speaking shows.

Paul Harvey was right. Even time capsules do that. My own grandkids wrote articles like that in their schools.

That's true. reminds me of those 'what did you do over summer break' papers we used to have to write as kids.

@Deepizzaguy I only remember it, because it was always used as a "get to know you" project when I'd get a new English teacher.

Writing about their experiences also helps with any stresses that they might have experienced.
