Have You Ever Had Someone Do A Caricature Of You?

Recently I've been seeing people posting how they look like as a cartoon or 3D character with big eyes or whatever the heck it is. It's probably a new app or something I haven't really looked into yet. Of course those are done by a program and so everybody's going crazy over it because hey, it's free to use. Which made me realize, hey, people like their photos/image to be turned into cartoon or anime characters and whatnots. And most people definitely love to use such apps because it's free. Ah there you have it. It's nice to get free stuff of course. Who doesn't like freebies? I am also an artist but only do it freelance and whenever I just feel like it. Several years ago I went back to my art roots and did caricatures of other people. Why? Well I used to post my graphic design works & illustrations on some online classified sites so people can avail of my service. One day I got a message from an event organizer looking for an on-the-spot caricature artist. Wow. I have never done that before so I accepted the challenge and voila! I've done many caricatures in a year or two after that. Anyway as mentioned, the string of free "cartoonized" version of people made me ask the above question. Or perhaps it's better to rephrase it to a different question... What would make you hire someone to cartoonize/illustrate/caricature you instead of using the new apps/websites that do it free? Why do you think it would be worth or not worth the amount you will pay for?
