I go into work today and owner dad in. Now first I thought he may have dementia. He often repeats himself and rambles on. Today frankly I think he's a narcissist. He will start yelling at me while I'm serving customers. Today was over a case of pop. We sell 12 0acks of Pepsi or other types. The fridge says $5.99. So I charge this lady. He spent 2 hours going on screaming at me. Frankly I told him if he didn't shut up I was going home. Not dealing with his crap after this week. He went on how the bottles are $2.7 each not $5.99 for a case. I tried explaining their different sizes and cases. Way different. Then it was mugs rootbeer isn't made by Pepsi (it is). The owner came back and he spent an hour screaming at her. When he like show me your lying. He had that narcissistic stare. The death stare I call it. This man is never wrong. Even when I showed it to him he still tried arguing. So I reminded her I left the last station because of comments like that. Your a good worker but everything your fault according to him yet I stock and do everything. Then Then young child maybe 5 years or so came in. He kept following this poor boy claiming he's stealing. This boy left without buying anything because he was uncomfortable.

Kurt Vonnegut published a book of short stories he named Welcome to the Monkey House... The title just struck me as appropriate to your work story.
