Day 5
Genesis 8:15 And God spoke unto Noah, saying,
16 Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons’ wives with thee.
17 Bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth.
18 And Noah went forth, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him:
19 Every beast, every creeping thing, and every fowl, and whatsoever creeps upon the earth, after their kinds, went forth out of the ark.
20 And Noah built an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
21 And the LORD smelled a sweet savor; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more everything living, as I have done.
22 While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
Isaac Newton’s third law states that for every action (force) in nature there is an equal and opposite reaction. God created the earth. Man sinned and became corrupt, and God destroyed the earth He created except for one man who found grace and favor in His sight.
Genesis 6:6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repents me that I have made them.
8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.
Noah was a righteous man who loved God and talked with God daily, so that when it came time for God to destroy the earth, Noah alone knew God’s voice and did what God told him and built the ark.
When you spend time with someone, you know their voice, their heart, and what to expect from them. Noah knew God’s heart and how grieved He was with the corrupt nature of mankind. When God told him to build an ark, He didn’t hesitate. He and his three sons built the ark and then Noah took his family, eight people, and the animals God told him to bring into the ark with him. As soon as the flood ended and the water receded from the earth, Noah left the ark, built an altar, and worshiped God.
As Christians, when you spend time with God every day, you know His voice. You know His heart. You know what grieves Him, and you know what brings Him joy.
Prayer is spending time with God, getting to know Him. You can’t know someone if you don’t spend time with them. You don’t recognize their voice if you only speak to them once in a while.
Noah knew God’s heart and voice. He obeyed Him in everything. When Noah stepped out on dry land again, he built an altar to worship God, who kept him and his family safe during the flood.
How do you react when you come through a crisis? What is your first reaction? For many people, even Christians, it’s telling everyone else you are safe, and then you remember to give God the praise and glory for bringing you safely through the crisis.
Noah’s first act was to build an altar and worship God. That should be your first reaction too. Give God praise for bringing you through and testify to God’s deliverance to everyone who will listen and rejoice with you.
Are you going through something right now? Give it to God and let Him bring you through.
Let’s pray: Father, help me spend time with You daily so I know Your voice when You speak to me. Let me give You praise when You bring me through a crisis and let my heart rejoice over Your goodness to me, testifying of what You brought me through. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Wonderful message. God wants a relationship with us and the only way for us to have that relationship with God is to spend time with Him.
Revelation 3:20 - Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.

Once you read the Holy Bible once, twice until it becomes daily, you are addicted to it. That means it becomes a habit.

If I`m having trouble and felt so depressed. I pray so hard until I feel good. God always gives answers by using other ways and let me realize how to over come fear. Thank you for this wonderful message and prayer. God bless us all

Thanks for the study, we can only spend time with God when God wants it and if God does not want to spend time with us we cannot no matter how hard we try

@just4him yes but I mean in case God does not want we cannot do anything as God has planned almost everything for us in advance
