When did your baby get their first tooth?

my first was almost 14 months and my second was 8 months old. I was told the later the better as it's easier to keep suckling them without getting bitten. I think it just happens whenever and you don't need to worry for ages yet.

Hi there. My daughter is only 7 1/2mos old but she is starting to have sensations on her gums. There's already some white thing trying to squueeze its way out. Although I have experienced my niece have her first tooth at 11 mos. When I asked my daughter's pediatrician about infants and teeth, he said that it really depends on the groth of the infant. No particular age should be met for this phenomenon. Happy parenting!

my daughter has teeth at 6 months........ and at one year old , she has 9 already... check with your pedia or dentist so you will know her condition.

I have a friend that her baby didn't get his first teeth until he was about 14 months old, she even rang a dentist to ask if there was something wrong and they said that it's ok, some kids will early and other kids take longer. With my first 3 babies, they all got there first one about 5 months old and with my last one he got his first one when he was 4 months old. I just realised this discussion started about 5 months ago, so your daughter has probably got a heap of teeth now.

My son got his first tooth this month.He is nine months old.So Do not worry about this.She will get her teeth.You could ask some doctors.Hope your baby and you happy everyday.

My daughter's first tooth started coming in when she was 10 months 1 week. A month later and it's still not even halfway in and there aren't any others coming through yet. She has been SUPER cranky this week so I'm guessing there will be more soon.

my daughter is 11 months old and she got tooth before one month.now she is having 4 and trying to bite everything that comes her way.but i heard that toothing differ from kid to kid and some will get by 1.5 years too.

it's perfectly fine! don't worry about it too much! if she don't have one know she probaly won't get any until she's a year old! that's what happen to me when i was a baby! i didn't get my first tooth til i was a year old but my son got his when he was 4 mos. he's 11 mos now and has 7 teeth!

My 8mth old daughter just cut two teeth. I think children develop at different speeds.
