Reading "The Cat Who Could Read Backwards" by Lilian Jackson Braun. Someone lent me a book in the same series, but much later in the series, so I didn't really get a lot of what was mentioned by characters or anything like that. At first I didn't care for the writing, but after reading it a second time, it sort of grew on me. I decided to begin at the beginning. I have been reading mostly because of the "Flex Power" thing, but I didn't unplug things like last time. When I asked my neighbor across the way if he'd heard about it, he hadn't, and I wondered if what I read was for all of California or just a certain part. Anyway, now it's practically time for bed. Don't know what they'll say about power or whatever tomorrow.
