Started out with five Tree Swallow baby birds in my backyard bluebird house. They turned 18 days old today. Have been watching them very closely. On day 18, they usually fledge.
Three have been on the edge of the opening of the house. Sat out on the deck watching, as well as through my window at my computer, for days now.
A few minutes ago three babies flew out all at one time. I had no time for a photo. Amazing to witness! They come out of the house, 18 days old, and can fly. Nature is so amazing. I may never see them again. I hope they will be safe. They usually go off to start migration.
Now there are two babies left. One is probably the runt. It may be another day before they leave. Time will tell. What an experience this has been.
Snapped this photo from inside of the momma checking on the last two babies.

How nice that you were able to watch them grow up. One day they just know it's time and they're gone.

@DocAndersen I have had to give these their space, not allowed to peek inside like with the bluebirds.

I bet it was amazing. I guess it was their time to see what they can do themselves. Maybe you will be able to get a picture of the two left that will fly away. I hope the 3 will come back to visit. That is very sweet that she is checking on them.

Since the parents are excellent parents then the ones that flew away will be ok. I am glad that the parents are excellent. It is amazing and I bet sad to see them go away. I hope others will come in their place and you can experience that miracle again.
