I see another pineapple

We just got a ripe pineapple that the mongoose spared for us and see yet another one. Hope it will stays till it ripens and the mongoose does not think of helping itself with it. I prefer pineapple juice rather than the slices. What is your choice?

Ooh, that's a really nice looking one! I haven't had any luck getting them to grow so far but my mom's husband has about half a dozen right now. The big one they planted a few years ago is getting ready to fruit again soon. I'd rather have my pineapple dried or as chunks on a pizza.

@allknowing It does. It's considered a "weird" topping here even if it's really commonly available... it seems like either you love it or you hate it.

What a nice surprise! I like pineapple any way it comes, juice, slices or chunks. Except on pizza. I think that's odd. I like slices best.

@allknowing I don't care for that combination on my pizza. I could eat pizza THEN eat pineapple lol.

Some pineapples have a bit of sourness in them and those could do well with juice with sugar added.

I love them raw. Mom loves making pineapple sambal. She loves the sweet, spicy taste of it.
