Yesterday was emotionally draining. So, I actually ate more than I wanted. It's good there aren't any sweets in the apartment. I opted for a sandwich and banana. At least I kept the calories unexpectedly low. How did you do with food and exercise? Thanks for reading. Image courtesy of Pixabay

I wonder how you follow your diet so strict everyday. I am very bad at it.

I have a goal I need to reach. I started five years ago because I needed knee replacement surgery. The doctor wouldn't do the surgery until I lost the weight. I had the surgeries last fall on both knees. However, it doesn't end there. I still have a lot of weight to lose. When I look at the results in the mirror, it helps me keep going for the ultimate goal.

Yesterday, wasn't great for either..but when we shopped over the weekend some of the junk food was so darn cheap, I couldn't resist buying it..I didn't pig out on anything..but still, shouldn't have had them. I went swimming which was helpful for calorie burning. Sorry about your bad day yesterday.

I'm sorry you gave in to the junk food temptation. It's good you went swimming.
Thank you.

@kobesbuddy At least I kept it down to a one-pound gain. It will be so much easier when I move. They have a fitness center.

@just4him Weekends make it hard to maintain, yet you've done it now, for two weeks!

I see your weight is still going down which is good. I think you did really good especially since you were having an emotional time and didn't go off the rails eating all sorts of stuff.

@just4him I'm an emotional and stress eater. I find the same thing as you..if junk food isn't in the house it's hard to go crazy.

@Marilynda1225 I wouldn't lose weight if I were an emotional or stress eater. Fruit is a good alternative to junk food.

It's hard to go off the rails when junk food isn't found in my pantry. I surprised myself though with emotional eating. That's not how I am. I'm usually the opposite. I don't eat when I'm upset, emotional, anxious, this time I did.

I'm trying to keep sweets out of my apartment, but it's very hard. Yesterday, I was craving sweets so badly that I too was glad there wasn't any in my room.

Well it does not sound/look too bad at all...and 1252 calories consumed is great.
