Thank you very much for this. I'm not happy at the moment living with my Mum and step-dad. It's not a good atmosphere. He moans all the time. She keeps going to sleep downstairs and not going to bed even though she knows it will help her legs get better. Almost everything I say, she answers me back. And because she couldn't get out, she was housebound so that the district nurse could come round and dress her legs, I had to go to the big Tesco with my step-dad. I didn't want to go shopping with him, and he didn't want to have to go shopping at all. Plus he walks so slowly, a tortoise could overtake us! I would have been quicker going on my own! I wish I could find some happiness.

@FaruMesh Oh, believe me, I try. I wash up, I go shopping. I make tea. Sometimes I think they take me for granted.

Emotions are a concious choice we make based on the circumstances around us. If you want to be happy, you will be. If you want to wallow.... that's up to you, too.
