June 25 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today is a good day, a different day, and a no-stress day. That in itself is something for which to be thankful. I watched the weather for the past several days and did something I shouldn't. I believed the weatherman when he said it would rain most of today. I told everyone I wouldn't be at the Y today. Instead, we didn't get any rain. Still, I am thankful I stayed home. It gave my body time to recoup from the workout I gave it all week. I'm thankful for the walk on the trail shortly after 6 this morning. It was the perfect time to hit the trail as it got humid early. The gentle breeze we had today kept the humidity in check. I'm thankful for the exercise I got with the foot cycle this morning. Between the trail and the foot cycle, I got 10K steps by 8 AM. I now have over 20K. I don't have as many steps as the last couple of days. I'm thankful for the time I visited with you today while I took care of the notifications. It's always nice to know how you're doing in your part of the world. I'm thankful I got more packing done this afternoon. The living room is almost finished. A couple more boxes and I will have that room finished. Then I can start in the kitchen. I'm thankful I rearranged my freezer. I think I can get the meat in it on Sunday. I ordered meat for the fundraiser for the kids going to camp next month. I'll have enough food in my freezer to get me through until I move. At least that's my hope. Okay, that's my day, along with watching television while I packed. How was your day?
