Have you ever noticed that soon after you clean out stuff that you haven't used is a long time you find you need it soon afternoon? I keep doing this the past year or so. I have been trying to get rid of things that I think at the time won't be using at this time. Unfortunately, I soon find out that I actually do need it soon after. I then end up ordering it online. Right now I need ribbon, a certain size and color. Wouldn't you know it, last month I gave almost my entire ribbon collection to Helping Hands. Oh well. Today is hot, humid, and soon to be rainy. I am happy to have the rain but I prefer the thunder and lightning go to another location. I hope everyone out there in MyLotLand saw a happy and healthy day.

I'm wishing for rain too. Unfortunately I didn't see the sign of it at all.

I have rarely had that happen. Usually if it turns out I need something..I can not find it anyway!

Annoying, isn't it? What I found is that I didn't think I needed anything during Amazon's Prime Days June 21 & 22...now I remembered that I need an external webcam; and hubs told me he'd like a cordless mixer. Sigh.

How lucky you are. I see dollar signs flying out the window when I have to buy something I just got rid of.

Today was nice but hot. I watered my trees and hollyhocks early this morning then got a load of laundry washed and hung ..... yikes, I need to bring that in, it's probably all dry by now.

There is nothing that smells better than laundry that is hung to dry outside.

LOL--love your photo--so true. Not feeling really great right now. Guess I got some little bug. They even took my temperature before I went into the Health Center to get my meds this morning and I didn't have a fever.

Hey! Stop that! I think you sent the hail and thunderstorms you're supposed to be getting to my area! Hail woke me up at 4:30 am. I thought it was going to break my storm windows. I went and looked out the front door and watched the last of the hail bouncing on my driveway... and then the rain started pouring down. *sigh* I live in southern Missouri. We are, again, under flash flood warnings. I'm glad I live on a hill. Some of the streets and yards have flooded twice this Spring/Summer, so far. And yes, it always happens... When my daughter, Pretty, starts cleaning out drawers and sending stuff to the thrift shops, then we need those items and have to go buy them again. I hope you have a calm and relaxing weekend.

I am glad you live on a hill too. Unfortunately I live at the bottom of an incline and water comes in our garage and screen room. Oh well. It's Murphy's Law in action. You don't need it at that moment so you get rid of it. When you find you need it, you buy it again.

@HazySue I'm sorry it comes in your garage and screen room... True, but "Murphy" is always helped by our need to keep things neat and tidy.

That's how I became a hoarder. Not really, but I do keep stuff around here that I rarely use. And the gremlins tend to hide things like scissors right when I need them.

I have done the same thing. If I think I need it I can't find it, if I get rid of it I find I need. After I get rid of something I will end up buying it again.

Really yes.Nice thought. Just few days I read an article where it's written that one person has thrown it's bitcoins few years back in dustbin on a bad thought that it's useless. And just few months after its price increased a lot. U all know about this. Now he was feeling very un lucky. It's all about life.we have see it,feel it & enjoy it. Are you agree with my or anything else.

It makes you wonder if this type of thing causes some people to become hoarders. It seems they are afraid to get rid of things that just might become useful and end up with a house full of stuff.

I am trying to use things up, when I feel like I have used them up or won't use them again, they go into the garbage. No regrets afterwards if I need something that I just threw out, its Murphy's Law isn't it? Its humid and hot and rainy here today. The air has a tropical feel to it.

It is Murphy's Law for sure. I find I need a little of this and a little of that and end up having to buy more than I need of that item.

I most of us end up doing it. For me, it's frustrating. I start making something knowing in my mind that I have all the supplies I need to complete it and end up buying it because I got rid of it and didn't remember.
