Being consistent in faith

This is my number one struggle. I made a consistency challenge in August 2020 about my faith in God and up to now I continue to struggle with my consistency. It's not easy to be consistent because sometimes your faith gets low.
I promise God to be consistent always praying to him, waking up early for dawn prayer, read the bible regularly, have evening prayers and make intercession for others but sometimes I just don't feel like doing them.
Being consistent has power. The enemy is more consistent than us and he takes opportunity when we are not consistent in our walk with God.
It's a challenge sometimes to be consistent especially if we don't see or feel good changes or we even notice more negativity happens. But consistency mean we never give up. God will reward us for our consistent effort to be close to Him and near Him.

The more we pray, the more we are tempted by the evil one.
It's all right if you change your prayer practice. Sometimes, when meditating on the rosary is distracted, we can pay attention to the Liturgy of the Word in the Holy Mass and we find that there are certain stories and lessons that are helpful in our prayer lives.

I like your honesty. I will be inconsistent too but for now I will try me best to be consistent because I know God will bless me and the enemy cannot defeat me

Yes, the enemy is a monster creeping in and whispering lies to us and trying to draw us away from God. Being consistent and staying in the word is the solution.

I believe that the enemy is working hard to draw us away from God. Being consistent gives us power

@averygirl72 I believe the same thing. We must keep our eyes on God.

Of course, it won't never work for you have said that "sometimes I just don't feel like doing them."
Look what happened to Peter when he wanted to join with Jesus walking on the sea. He sank for his lack of faith.

I think it really happens. What is important is we keep trying to come back every time we lose our faith

@averygirl72 That's right and those who are repentant and remorseful are always welcome by the Lord with an open arms.

Your Flesh Will Always Try to overtake your spirit. But as Believers we have the Power in Jesus Name to overcome the work of the Devil and the Flesh What I do daily is I Worship God First then i Read My Bible and Pray.

It is the work of the flesh. We need to be strong in spirit. Are you not consistent sometimes?

In my opinion , you are doing really well in faith life. I try to do the same. But it is quite possible to miss one act or another for some reason. The important thing is to be in constant contact with God. That I do with short prayers interspersed all the day. Just one line prayers. In old spirituality ( our parents') they were called "Arrow prayers".

I forgive myself if I cannot be consistent with my time with God. I always come back when I feel much better. Yes I like to do the Arrow Prayers
