Producer Shin Wonho and Writer Lee Woo Jung always makes a massterpiece dramas, and that would be one of the best cable drama of all time. If were going to look back, cable korean dramas back then are so underrated that the 1% will be the highest rating of a cable drama. But Director Shin Wonho and Writer Lee Woo Jung made a big turn on that fact. Director Shin Wonho came from a big company wherein he is an executive producers of some popular variety show. And same as Writer Lee Woo jung she also came from writing for a popular variety show. And then one day they decided to transfer to a cable station. And they planned to produce a series called Reply 1997. According to PD Shin Wonho he is planning to cast a popular actor that time for the main lead, but he was turned down because that actor said he is not often actually doing cable dramas. That's how he remembered Seo In Guk and Jung Eun Ji who actually auditioned for the supporting roles. The both of them are a newbie when it come to acting, especially Eun Ji that is her acting debut drama. PD Shin Wonho anf Writer Lee Woo Jung made a right decision on casting actor who doesnt belong to the A-list actors, because that made the series become much better and fresh. Reply 1997 made a breaking record on korean cable drama history, It ended with a 7% ratings on the last episode. It won a lot of awards, best new actress, best drama, best screenplay and many more. It really did made a big impact on the cable history. After making the Reply series that became a worldwide sensation. The production team has also made dramas such Prison Playbook that also became a highest rated korean cable drama in the history. And currently airing right now is Hospital Playlist wherein there is only one episode per week. The team actually thought that the viewers would not appreciate the one ep per week because that is not the usual routine to a korean drama. But again it became highest viewership ratings for the first episode of tvN's dramas and still soaring until now. If were going to review all of the dramas made by this team, on why a cable drama did make it to a success. My answer would be this. All of their dramas is not all about the cheesy lines, romance comedy love stories or the same pace of a korean drama, It will give you a feeling that you do also belong to the story. Almost every viewers of this dramas would say that they can relate to one or more of the scenes of the show. It will give you an overwhelming feeling that you clearly understand what the characters feels.All about the friendship, families and life its actually depicts in this dramas. It will make you remember one moment in your life, if its bad moment or a good moment. Thsi dramas will make you rea;ize how beauftiful life is and how we should appreciate it.
