Will the agony with the virus start again?

Good day friends I didn't call in the previous days, because I felt tired, I didn't get enough sleep, and today I was back to town to buy a basket of something I needed to install the laminate. The worker was supposed to come tonight, but announced that he would still come tomorrow. It's still hellishly hot outside, although I've heard we're going to have a drop in temperature at the end of the week. Today, I heard that the virus has reactivated, not in my country, but that Australia is being locked again. Is the situation better in your country?

I've stopped caring about the virus. Mandates are being dropped right and left because our ecconomy can't take the hit.

@Nevena83 The economy is suffering world-wide. Will this improve? I don't know.

I also stopped thinking about the virus, but I have a feeling that the state does not want people to relax, but to start with information about the virus again. I think that many countries are in trouble with the economy and I have a feeling that more people will die in the coming period from hunger and poverty than from viruses.

@kobesbuddy You are right, but I often hear various theories, how all countries have now relaxed their measures a little in order to make some money.

It appears that things are better here, but we are not done with this virus yet. Our state has reopened fully, but we are going to continue staying cautious - and I am glad to see that most people (out here anyway) are doing the same. But not everyone .

@Nevena83 Well, the cases are going up again - and I am not surprised. I never believe that we are "back to normal" yet. I think we are doing better than many other places, but as a world I think we are far from being done.

@much2say Sometimes I feel like I'm consciously controlling people's emotions, maybe because there are a lot of theories about the origin of the virus.

I'm glad it's better there. People have completely relaxed here and I'm not sure that the announcements of a new wave of viruses will scare anyone here.

In the UK they have again around 20,000 new cases every day, after they went down to less than 300. Here it is fine for the moment.

@Nevena83 I fully agree with you. We are still in a pandemic situation, it is even dangerous to go out grocery shopping, where is the need to go to another country? I renewed my ID the last end of May, but not to travel, to have a valid document with me.

I believe in the US, things are beginning to calm down. We're not being plagued by thousands of deaths, in our cities each day.

It is good if things calm down, they are announcing here that the fourth wave of the virus will arrive in the fall. I'm not sure how I can know in advance if the virus will come back.

@Nevena83 It doesn't come back, Nevena. Instead, it never left in the first place. If people won't follow those strict rules, the virus will continue to spread like a fire.

@kobesbuddy You are probably right, but here almost no one respects the rules and there are fewer and fewer patients, it is strange that the number of patients will increase in the fall, and now there is a much higher concentration of people.

You need rain, don't you? This is about the fourth wave that will allegedly arrive in the fall, I honestly think that people are more and more relaxed and that rarely anyone still thinks about the existence of the virus.

Our worst month was December 2020. We had a lot of new cases at that time and most places were closed. Things are better now. It is definitely not over, new cases are diagnosed every day, but the situation is better than it was half a year ago.

@Nevena83 We almost ran out of hospital beds in December because there were so many new cases, but at least we don't have to worry about that now. New cases are still diagnosed every day, but the hospitals are able to keep up with demand.

I can't remember which month was the worst in our country, but I know that they often presented horribly, and then suddenly, as summer came, it was as if the virus had disappeared.

@Nevena83 vaccination helps but not all are being vaccinated. Plus being vaccinated doesn't ensure not getting the virus. It just help us fight the virus.

@prinzcy You are one of the few who told the truth, more precisely, many who are vaccinated here believe that they cannot get sick, nor can they transmit the virus, and the truth is exactly what you told.

@Nevena83 The authorities are urging everyone to be cautious since the new Delta variant is spreading across the country. But otherwise, there doesn't seem to be too much concern about a new wave of viruses.

I have a feeling that all countries have released tourists in order to earn something, and that there will be panic again in the fall.

Indeed , most states in australia are experiencing a lockdown due to the new and apparently aggressive " Delta " strand , I'm currently in WA and it is just a 4days lockdown, comparatively to others country it's bearable.. they play it safe here and that's how we're doing pretty good I suppose I am happy to read on the comments below many people not being panicked by the virus and still questioning what's happening. Feels good ???? Have a beautiful day and take care everyone ??

That's good. Here, I think that no one respects distancing anymore, even masks are worn only indoors, but not everywhere and not everyone.
