Stick them somewhere else

United States
June 30, 2021 4:26pm CST
I bought some Harry Potter stickers at Michael's once a yonder year ago (or like, a couple of months?) either way, I decided I don't want to stick them on the water thermos after all. So, along with a Harry Potter Recipe book I'll never use, I'm going to sell it. I actually had two of these recipe books at one time, but sold the one I got as a gift to the thrift store. This one (mine) I am going to list on facebook along with the stickers. I'm going to go through my coloring books and list some of those too. I am thinking of creating a "Crafter's bundle" of the popsicle sticks and jenga blocks I bought from dollar tree and have yet to do anything with. I'm less inclined to believe those will sell, but it does no harm to list them anyway. Again, just don't feel like being on the 'lot lately. I know you're wondering why I'm here then...

A bundle should be a great idea to sell. Good luck.

Thanks! I'm going to get it all sorted, photographed and listed sometime today. I've already sold the harry potter cookbook and stickers. I need to go through my coloring book drawer and figure out what I want to sell.

I am washing and keeping the ice cream and Popsicle sticks from years... let me know if you can sell them, I could try the same.

I will let you know. I am going to list them for crafting and gardening usage as well. They are in packages of 100 and some that I have are different colors.

@LadyDuck I will let you know if I get any interested buyers. It might be something you could sell locally? I am selling with shipping only, which means I will not get any local buyers.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Wow, how do you sell stuff so quickly like that? I know eventually you will be back here regularly .

Certainly not! Though I hope to feel back in the full lotting form soon. Already sold the harry potter book and stickers.

@much2say Honestly it's mostly pure luck. Though I don't ever try to overprice things, which I think helps a lot. I price either the same as I paid or slightly less. I've also covered part of shipping costs for a few things here and there.

I like the idea of you making a crafters box. With summer here and the kids off from school I'm sure your box will sell quickly.

That's what I was thinking as well. I plan to make a listing for it sometime today.

You seem to have a lot of success on the Marketplace. Maybe that's something I should try.

It does seem to be going well for me at the moment. It's gone better than Ebay and Mercari, I've not received any sells from there.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I used to sell a lot on eBay; but then I started to get a lot of sales at the minimum ($.99). I once sold a leather coat with the tags on it for $.99. No one else bid on it!

@LindaOHio Oh gosh, wow! That had to be hurtful. I know it cost more to ship it than the price you received for the item. Ugh! Yeah, I have a few things on ebay but no bites. I'm probably going to take the listings down to be honest.

Why not? Better to see than have useless items laying around. The only thing about the HP is they could be worth a bundle sometime in the future question is..do you want to wait that long?

This book was (I've sold it) an unofficial thing. The stickers were official, and I sold them for $4, about the price I paid at Michael's. The book sells for around $5 to $10 online, so I chose to do it at $4 also, just to get rid of it.
