I have recently come upon a Latin spice mix called Adobo. It is garlic, pepper, salt, an a few other spices. It is great on Steak and burgers. It is just the best thing in the world for chicken. Which actually is my newest favorite ingredient. I never even liked chicken until I started making it several different ways.

adobo is very popular here in the philippines. its the first dish that my mom taught me how to cook. there are different kinds of adobo. it could be chicken, pork, fish, vegetables and it really tastes good. i've spent a lot of times experimenting with different key ingredients in making adobo. but i find that i like making the adobo marinade myself than just getting the ready-made mix. its very easy to make. basically its just vinegar, soy sause, garlic and pepper and you could add your favorite herbs to it. it taste a whole lot better!

yes, i agree that garlic is such a great seasoning to add to everything. i also add garlic to almost everything that i cook. it give food a different flavour.

Garlic is a favorite ingredient in my house too. So is Italian dressing. My boyfriend likes to marinade everything with it. He also uses something he calls Mrs Dash, I'm not sure what is in it.lol. He likes to cook so I just let him do his thing.lol
