So the drama

There's a woman who sacrificed everything to ensure her husband became successful. He did but he found another woman in the process. She moved on, fall in love with another man. Then the ex-wife of her new man show up. Her husband also came back, wanting to be with her again. A woman going through a hardship to find a man who loved her unconditionally. She also turn out to be the lost daughter of the CEO. After all the hardship in her life, she could finally be happy. But turn out her man was her step brother. I'm pretty sure those two scenarios are unlikely to happen in real life. Maybe they do but must be really rare. Those scenarios are a part of the dramas that Mom loves watch. I'm pretty sure the plot is being recycle into multiple drama as I can predict what's happening next. I'm sure Mom can predict too but she still love to watch it. Just another day in my household during this lockdown.

Telenovelas are imitation of life. But believe it, truth is stranger than fiction. Just allow your mother enjoy the drama. Sometimes, the drama is intended to pan away the stresses from our own lives.

Sometimes she would just turn on the tv without watching. But I want to change the channel she would be angry and said she's watching that

@prinzcy That is natural for mothers to watch television without even looking. Sometimes, just listening is enough.

@Jlyn10 I'm not sure about the first one as it doesn't end yet. Right now, her ex-wife left him, realizing she's not the one for him. The second one, seems like she's going to be with her stepbrother. Maybe he's really not her stepbrother. You know how drama goes. But he's not confessing to her again, yet. And the drama still doesn't end. Maybe a couple more episodes. If I could predict this, I'm pretty sure both would have happy endings. They would be together and all the bad guys will go to the jail.

@prinzcy Doesn't matter. I'd rather listen to the story (even though it's cut short) than watching the series because I know I wouldn't be able to control myself when I get started.

I knew there was a reason I quit watching television! Step through the door and I'll fix you a nice dinner, we can sit and visit for a while and then you can go home for a quiet evening. Doesn't that sound better than watching crap on tv? It's 22C on my front porch right now. I have two comfortable rocking chairs there and we could enjoy the smell of the flowers.

Ai, 22C~ Too bad I still couldn't find the door. No, I don't really watch it. I'm busy doing things online. Mom watch it. And since we're in the living room at the time, I could see what she's watching.

@prinzcy I waited for you for a while and then fell asleep. Since you weren't here, I fixed myself a sandwich (turkey and cheddar) and am eating it now. I'm sorry... Pretty is usually in her room watching/talking online so I don't have to hear or see what she's doing. (I'd get annoyed by the tv drama if I had to listen to it. *shrug*) I hope you're having a good day.

Daily soaps and serials are like that only . They always show which are rare in the normal life. I don't like watching them as I don't like excessive dramas they show.
