Like in a eye blink 2021 is half way gone
It is hard to believe 1st of July is already here
Ushering in the last of the year of 2021
Winter and spring now part of history
While summer and fall speeding on tail
Waiting to add what they bring to the year's story
Before we can blink again we'll see the year gone
As the holiday season comes and go once again
Then we'll welcome 2022 when it is all said and done
Oh don't you wish from time to time as to be able to slow time
from speeding up with each passing year like it was when as a child
Something we wanted seem to drag and take its own sweet time.
Any I hope everyone has had a good year so far
and let's take time and enjoy the time we have
Before time has totally come and gone for us all

In Louisiana the fun begins that no hurricanes will be coming to the area for the rest of the summer and fall.

My Nana use to tell me that the days fly by as you get older. As a kid I had no clue what she meant but now as an adult I surely do.

Great poem. The older I get, the faster time flies. It was just 2000; and everyone was worried about Y2K.

What can I say? I hope so, too and you're right. Enjoy while you're here.
