Good morning Friday...

@arunima25 You're not only teasing me with good sounding food but teaching me a little bit of Hindi, too. I forgot you might have a problem with sugar... I wouldn't tease you with cake, then. We don't do anything for the 4th of July except stay in the house so I can avoid the smoke from fireworks. I am allergic to it. I keep an epi-pen handy if we go outside as the smoke can make my throat close. I could end up going to the hospital if that happens. (Last time it happened, I was in hospital care for three days while meds opened my throat back up.) We are also concerned as the Delta variant has made it to our city. The old age home six blocks from us has been quarantined while the health officials try to find out how the virus sneaked into the facility since it appears there were no visitors and no outside staff that brought it in.

It was egg curry, rice, cucumber and onions salad and curd. No peas for lunch but maybe for dinner I will add some to cottage cheese (paneer). I am making mutter paneer. Mutter is hindi for peas I am going to separate the cottage cheese cubes and give it to my elder one. She hates peas like you. So if you join us for dinner, I will do the same for youYou can be accommodated there. Your cake sounds yummy and makes my mouth water. But I am not keeping a good sugar level today, it's on bit border line high. So, I can't even think of having any sweet for few days I hope the weekend is good. Hey! It's a long weekend for your country. Do you have any special plans??

Oh, she looks perfectly cooked and I want to order some food.

@arunima25 That's good you love to cook. If it's not too crowded, I want to go to the amusement park here. We always went there when I was a kid, and I enjoy it a lot. I doubt I'll do any of the rides, but it's good to watch. Otherwise, I will stay home. It's supposed to be very hot this weekend.

@just4him I hope the weather turns out pleasant. Many would have plans to be outdoors. Let the heat not ruin it. I hope you visit the amusement park and enjoy it.

Thank you. I keep weekends to relax and enjoy. I guess that is what they are meant for. But then there is a demand for some delicious special meal on weekends and we end up doing a bit in the kitchen. I love cooking and have no complaints about it. Have a good weekend. Any special plans for 4th July?

@arunima25 I told to my husband that I am going to cook something easy for the weekend and take it easy until Monday.

" Hana" seemed good. Let's see how it actually turns out to be. There is another Amazon show called Arrow. That too looks good. We will just try these two. Seems like you are quite exhausted. You should take some good rest this weekend and rejuvenate yourself.

@LadyDuck That would be good. Today I made a special brunch. And tomorrow I just plan to make a quick rice recipe and just enjoy the day doing other stuff.

@arunima25 I loved him. I was sad to see it end. Hubs wasn’t a fan, but he watched it with me.

We watched the show " The Family Man". It is an okay one. We watch it more for the actor Manoj Vajpayee. He is a wonderful performer. I hope you enjoy it. Happy weekend to you too.

I am always excited about weekend especially Friday. It's a good break after a long week and I get to relax and rejuvenate.. I have not yet decided for weekend special meal. But yes, it's mostly something special
