This morning i decided to just bought a breakfast instead of made it. This is actually one of my favourite food for breakfast. It called chicken rice porridge or "bubur ayam" in Indonesian. It is a traditional dairy free and gluten free indonesian chicken rice porridge served with aromatic broth, omelet, and shrimp cracker, also shreded chicken and cakwe. It is one of the staple food in Indonesia, each city has different seasoning and how to serve it, but it is the same base for the ingriedient, rice and chicken. What do you have for breakfast? (Photo is mine, what i had this morning)

We have a similar meal here in the Philippines. We call it Lugaw or rice porridge. It usually contains chicken and egg. You can eat it during breakfast or snacks. It is best serve during rainy season.

I never tried this dish, but it looks appetizing. I had toasted bread with butter and jam and yogurt with berries for breakfast.

It looks and sounds delicious, but more like a lunch or supper meal to me. I usually just have a coffee and a little dish of granola with milk for my breakfast.
