I never read the bible. I am just asking myself if I should. Many people say that whoever really reads the bible will start to belive in god. But is it true? I don't know why I never read it or why I always want to do it later. Any suggestions?

Reading the Bible will not make someone believe in God. I'm a theology student, and I've read the Bible in a few different languages a few different times. It's a wonderful historical document, if you don't believe in the ideas put forth in it. Much the Old Testament pretains to living safely in the times, and the laws make sense when you look at it that way. It gives a lot of insight into the time in which it was written, and I think it's worth it for that.

Did what work for me? I study the Bible and other religious texts and compare them to historical texts from similar time periods. It's one of my hobbies. I'm a part time theologist. My own personal beliefs stay out of it, if that's what you're wondering.

Humans have created religion because we don't know our origins. But we don't know if a god exist, so bible is for relious people, not for everyone

I do read the Bible. But it's not by reading it will make you start believing in God. Everyone should believe Him because He is the creator of Heaven and Earth. Without Him, we're nothing and nobody's here ^_^. But one must read the Bible at least once.
