I feel like family doesn't have to be by blood. I think your friends or your girlfriend can be your family or even the people you work with. Family to me are people that care about you and would never do anything to hurt you. My experience has taught me that blood isn't everything and my girlfriend is my whole world.

I completely agree. You may not be able to chose who you're born to, but you can chose who you consider family. My husband is my best friend and my family.

I totally agree !
Some of my family has betrayed me and I have friends that would do anything for me
I consider those my family
