Are your parents aware of you being on mylot?

That's very nice. I hope your mom enjoys herself on myLot. No, but my daughter is aware. My parents passed away years ago.

My parents came out to see me in 2007 and my Dad wanted to use my computer. I was half teaching and half showing. He opened a window and it was a MyLot discussion I was following closely. He asked about it and I explained what it was all about. Then he wanted to see my discussions. Hahah I was kind of a jerk sometimes in heated brawls that used to be commonplace here. Today's MyLot is a much kinder and more polite forum than previous versions. He was amazed that I was earning 30 bucks a month just by posting. He read through many threads with mom and later on he said he was very happy that I paid attention in school. That's my mom and dad story.

I don't think she knows of this forum existence. And she never care of what I'm doing online as well.

Yes my parents are aware of me being on mylot. Even my wife know it. She reads my posts too sometimes when she has a leisure time.

Well that's exciting news! Welcome to you both. My parents have both passed. Now my husband has some idea of what I do but he' not interested in creating an account. He's much too busy with other tasks.

My daughter started my account. She also made an account for her self. Mylot bored her. I stayed. Good thing your mother will come join. You can interact here and exchange ideas,

To be honest, my parents are not English educated so they are not concern with mylot and do not understand even if I told them about it.

No, my Dad doesn't use computers and my Mom only does Facebook and reads her emails.

Your mom can view your discussions without actually creating an account. My mom doesn't know about me being on mylot but my husband does.

I haven't and have never thought about this....but I am fine this way.
