That is the question that came up when loads and loads of tourists were seen at the Kempty Mussouri falls. - maskless, no social distancing.
They have now been pulled up and what that pulling up is not known. How irresponsible can people be?

The same thing happening here when the lockdowns were relaxed because the cases were starting to go down people flocked to resorts to enjoy. They went there like there is no pandemic going on. The good about it. there were people that reported it and authorities started to investigate. There were many affected like the resort was closed down for illegally allowing people in the resort and all of the people were swabbed to check if there was infected and true enough there were several that was tested positive.

@allknowing True we have not been used to this living in isolation for a long period of time. The thing is that the enemy cannot be seen that is why people just could not believe it until they get it somehow. The sun shines brightly, there is no calamity, no one can see bullets firing here and there it just feels absurd to keep oneself isolated. But then there is just but one tiny virus that can kill you.

Similar action has been taken now and only 50 are allowed at the waterfall, at a time People are senseless is all what I can say. Ridiculous. As though they will die if they do not go there.

Some neo rich people are incorrigible and they do not bother about being infected as they think that they could get themselves treated if they fall ill. They do not bother about others also.
It is really disgusting that people are rushing to hill stations and are not bothered about the carona and the irony is many of them are not following Covid protocol at tourists places.

@allknowing Yes, you are very right. Now State Government of Uttrakhand and Himachal Pradesh have imposed some restrictions on tourists and hotels have been asked to accommodate only 50% of their occupancy.

@dpk262006 We should not wait for governments to tell us. We should use our common sense

According to WHO, the number of new cases in India are in decline now. (I don't know if we can trust their data, though. I've not paid a lot of attention to how accurate they are.)
Those tourists were being very foolish, though. The Delta variant is very contagious and the current vaccines are only 80% effective against it.

Even if there is no lock down we are supposed to follow protocol. How foolish they have been to behave that way

@DaddyEvil The third variant is extremely contagious. What was the desperate need to do this. They have come from all over the country.

Happening here too and this country has a high infection rate at the moment.
Even though we have had the vaccine complete you can still get it without wearing a mask whilst being out.

A few understand but a lot don´t its something that only happens to someone else.
We are being forced to wear a mask still everywhere we go even with the vaccine complete.

People are going to all sorts of places with restrictions lifted. Though the number of cases have come down, its far from over. .
