I think I just wouldn't try. I'd just write the way I always have, let others figure it out.

@TheHorse I do. I just don't know or wouldn't know if I were doing it.

@kaylachan Just think 5-7-5 (syllables). I think Haikus were originally mostly about nature. I believe it to be Japanese poetry form.

He invented the high koo
And I don’t know why

@TheHorse —
Please don’t bury me
Down in that cold cold cold ground
Without John Prine songs

I'd write in haiku
But I am not good at
Counting syllables.

@TheHorse You've got six syllables in your first line... is that how you're rebelling?

Another day in making

I don't do Haiku.
I prefer the Limerick.
You have a nice day.

I would struggle to conform to rules
Look around if there are other fools
Or am I the only misfit
Then weigh the possible punishment
And watch friends struggling with torment
Decide neither are for me
But I will find a way around alright
Even though I ain't as bright
I'll protest as leaders do

I would rebel
I would break all the rules
Then shake a stick at them and send them on their way
Heck, I even write free verse when it comes to my poetry so I can just let the emotions flow, Thank heavens, no one expect any hiaku from me,
