Spent time this morning clipping vines

Midland, Michigan
July 9, 2021 11:27am CST
Not me personally. I watched and swept up debris. We were trying to eliminate a lot of bird nests but I think the rest of the vines are still loaded with more. My worker accidentally clipped a cable line hidden in the vines. At least he didn't hit a power line. I'm hoping the homeowner will be happy with the job.

I hope that no one is without electricity because of the clipped cable.

@MarshaMusselman Someone cut an electric cable here, he was not zapped because he had insulated gloves.

@LadyDuck that's good that he was using preventive measures at least. My guy was staying away from the electrical lines and was surprised he clipped their tv cable.

No it was atv cable that was clipped. Had it been the electricity he would have been zapped or worse.

He accidentally snipped the line for cable which was hidden in the vines but it could have been worse if he'd have hit the electrical lines.

@MarshaMusselman exactly.... Lucky enough... He has to be more cautious while working. Sometimes a little carelessness could cost a life

He's lucky enough. It could be bad if it's a power line.

That would have been much worse.

That's a job that's probably tougher than it seems! Oh yah, clipping the power line would have been really, really bad .

Even getting closer to it would have been bad too. So we quit while we were ahead.

@much2say I'm going so. They were going to eliminate some of the birds frequenting the area but I think the whole area is filled with birds.

Yes. It should all come down but people like the way it looks so they keep it. We're may be clipping this much every year now but shall see.

It looks nice but it can destroy screens and siding. And it's messy to clean up.
