do you think that robert jordan should end the wheel of time series in this last book? If yes please explain your theories on how the ending will look. If no, go into detail about why it would be a bad decision and what you think might be lost from such an ending.

The Wheel of Time is one of my favourite book series, the books are long and entertaining for me, but like most of you I want it to finish, it has got to finish in the next book. Twelve books is already quite a lot. I have the same problem as you guys keeping track of who's who, everytime a new book comes out I have to remember, and if I can't I just check WoT website.

i think he should end it right away... its so not cool to read a loooong novel and never be able to read its ending just because its writer cant end it for varied reasons like failing health or something... and evryone here is right. there are times when i cant keep track of whos who in the story specially when they aren't that important at the first parts of the series and got mentioned in the later parts... there are times when i write down their names and roles in the story just to keep track... and its annoying doin it... but still, i love the novel... i'd say its story is way better than the lord of the rings

I've enjoyed the series myself. What I really liked was the fact that the books were so long, so that when I had periods of nothing to do on long cruises at sea, this was the perfect thing to occupy my long, weary hours.
I don't really mind how long the series goes on, I just wish the paperbacks would be released faster. I got tired of waiting for New Spring, so I bought the hard back. A few months later, the paperback finally came! _

The series was originally supposed to be a trilogy. But because of their success, Jordan's publishing company urged him to extend the series.
I just want it to end. The plot has deviated so far from where it started, most of the characters are practically unrecognizable at this point, and you need a spreadsheet to keep track of who's who and where they are. It's an amazing series, but I think he's burnt out. He needs to end it ASAP.
Especially with his failing health.

I hope nothing will be lost in his ending in it in the next book, but I think it's best. I'm excited about it. I don't feel the plot has deviated that much, just that he builds on to it. I think the characters will deal with the impending doom in their well developed fashions and RJ will end the story well.
