Virgin Galactic's Richard Branson Set to Travel to Space Today--- what's interesting for me is that Sirisha Bandla is among them, a 34-year old Indian origin astronaut. Am proud that she is from my native place just 60km drive from my hometown.
Those who are interested can watch it live on Virgins YouTube channel in couple of hours.

I remember was very excited when Kalpana chawla travelled to space..

Yes we lost such a young astronaut in Kalpana.
Yup basically from Andhra but in Mumbai since childhood.
