CHANGEING THE NATIONAL ANTHEM???????

I am sorry but after hearing they want to sing the National Anthem in Spanish -enough is enough. No where did they sing it in Italian, Japanese, Polish, Irish (Celtic), German, Portuguese, Greek, French, or any other language because of immigration. It was written by Francis Scott Key and should be sung word for word the way it was written. The news broadcasts even gave the translation -- not even close. Sorry if this offends anyone but this is MY COUNTRY - IF IT IS YOUR COUNTRY SPEAK UP ---- please pass this along~
I am not against immigration -- just come through like everyone else. Get a sponsor; have a place to lay your head; have a job; pay your taxes, live by the rules AND LEARN THE LANGUAGE as all other immigrants have in the past -- and GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Will we still be the Country of choice and still be America if we continue to make the changes forced on us by the people from other countries that came to live in America because it is the Country of Choice??????

We should not be changing the national anthem.
National anthem is to be respected.

I agree 100% man, very nice response there. I hate immigrants saying they should be treated more fair, EXPECIALLY the ILLEGALS!!! If an American goes to another country, we have to fill all kinds of papers out, saying how long we will stay and so on, and we cant even get a job unless born there.. and illegals are able to get across.. and think they have the right to our jobs as well. Than go a speak there own language and get mad at us for not knowing what they are saying when English is our countries language. I think that if they dont want to go by the country, than they should just get out of the USA. Other countries learn English... yea, because thats what most business transactions are done internationally. and most from the US would try and learn theres as well out of curtisy. But trying to change the thing that means something in our country, is just uncalled for.
People have to learn when they have gone to far. If its not stopped now, The older wont be able to know what half the people are saying, because it will get to the point where they will make it a mandotory thing for spanish to be taught in schools, and children at age 8 would be learning spanish on top of english, so they would be able to speak both, Or they wont be able to get there food.. LOL, But yea, I think you got my point. I might come back and put some more things against Immigrants wanting us to adapt to them. but for now, I'll just see what others think as well as you.

You said it!!! I totally agree with everything. I come from Mexican parents and even though my mom might not chose to speak Engilsh she doesn't believe it should be changed(my mom knows English but choses not to speak it..only when she has to!) Well anyway I think it's really stupid. Latinos/Hispanics just want the Government to do something on their side so then they can say that this country is now theirs or something like that! We don't go to their country wanting them to change their laws to accomodate us...the US is the one doing everything to accomodate them! I'm not against Immigration either...but if they want things to go their way they should start by doing what us as Americans do and Speak English!
