Spelling bee champion rewards

My hat is off to the 2021 Scripps National Spelling Bee champion Zalia Avant-garde who recently won the championship on Thursday evening by spelling the word "Murraya" which means a type of tree
Zalia who is from Harvey Louisiana which is a suburb of New Orleans in the West Bank of the Crescent City is 14 years of age.
Due to her amazing feat of being the best speller in the world competition stage, she is the first Louisiana native to win $50,000 dollars and a trophy.
Even though Zalia is not of age to attend college at this time, Louisiana State University (LSU) and Southern University (SU) who are located in Baton Rouge are offering her a scholarship to attend their schools after she graduates from college.
In the "Can You Top This" category, the Louisiana Community and Technical College System is offering her a full scholarship to attend any community and technical college in Louisiana.
I wish Zaila the best in whatever she chooses to pursue her dreams of happiness in her life since she paid her dues to the best in the spelling bee competition.

I heard she is really good at something else. I think it was something about spinning three basketballs at once like the globetrotters and them do.

Saw this in the news and was very happy for this teen lass who, after her competition, celebrated her victory by caring (chasing, actually) for her kid brother in the parking lot.
Way to go, Zalia. Well done, well done!

Zaila deserves the rewards for working hard and winning a spelling bee even though some haters are saying what is the big deal winning a spelling bee contest? Come on anyone knows to succeed at anything is requires hard work.
