What sacrifices have you made for your parent?

From elementary school I only lived with my mother and father who were suffering from a stroke. After 8 years of illness, at the age of 16, my father died. It was a very sad day in my life. After graduating from elementary school I wanted to continue to my favorite school in my area but unfortunately the school was very far from my house, almost 24 km. My mother forbade me and advised me to choose a school close to home. Finally, with a heavy heart I obeyed my mother's request. I've always felt like I've always given up on not getting the best, for the sake of my mother and father. Besides that, I have always been an obedient child, who would do whatever my parents ordered, such as helping my mother in the fields, helping my father eat, etc. Sometimes I feel bored with all this, but I realize that this is an obligation that I should have done to repay all the sacrifices and love from my parents.
