It's like that in majority of the houses in India and I was actually thinking about it during the afternoon when it was raining and when I went back home from work, mom was already preparing fritters which were made with bread stuffed with grated Boiled potatoes mixed well with salt and spices and deep fried and used tomato ketchup for dip and took tea with that.
Do you like fritters?

I do like fritters but I do not eat them much because they are not a part of my diet. They are a rare treat.
Here rainy day foods are hearty, usually soups or stews.

@Butterfingers Maybe. There are ways to make fritters healthier, and I could do that.

I am not sure if I ever had them but so glad you enjoy them with ketchup. I just checked and there are people that make them here but with bananas I think.

I believe I have not either. I just looked it up when you mentioned them and wanted to see if we had them here and read something of what was said and it mentioned bananas.
