I believe that open relationships shouldn't be a thing because your partner can leave you for another person. Especially if they're planning to find "something better ". And the partner has to wonder if their partner is falling in love with someone else. Even if they have some communication, the partner can delete messages. If they're going to leave you for someone else, might well break up with them.
